As someone who has 6k hours in Warframe and been with the game since the beginning a major problem ive seen and one that i believe is a big reason for why damage frames have become the norm is that the game used to be a lot less grindy in its mechanics and there were a lot less things to grind for. now with the game having basically become "grindframe" no one wants to spend the time to play the game with strategy and variety when they can just burst in kill everything as fast as possible and repeat to optimize the grind for that one thing theyre after.

I think Kullervo's passive is fine, or hell even GREAT by most measures. I'm reminded of something like Excal's passive just being "here, be better with swords", and Kullervo's passive is basically "Here, be *Extremely* good at using heavy attacks"

Granted, I'm tempted to be a snarky bitch and note that I think that it's less that RANGE is more important than anything else and that AoE is more important than anything else. If RAnge was the problem then Snipers would be meta. Like, I've been building an Umbra, and I think the more important thing than the fact that his exalted blade is "ranged" is more the fact that it serves as a hitbox extender that makes it hit not only the guy you're aiming at, but the guy behind the guy you're aiming at. giving you basically Dynasty Warrior hitboxes.

I replaced the swappable powers with gloom (great synergy), roar (duh), pillage, condemn, Ophanium eyes (Great), Chyrinka Pillar (more fun than I thought), Terrify (Duh). Lycath's hunt is OK, but Xaku's guns don't really do headshots, so you can use longer range guns to get energy and leave the close enemies to your floaty guns. I really like gloom. It gives floaty guns a much longer time to shoot at enemies, and lets you ignore charging melee enemies in order to focus on eximus units. It also slows the fire rate of nearby enemies immensely, which greatly helps survivability. Lycath's hunt is also great. It lets your floaty guns handle the close enemies and you can headshot farther enemies for energy. This also lets you go into negative efficiency for power strength, which makes everything feel much stronger. Gloom is the pick for steel path circuit, because if you get the corrupted decree that gives you .5 weapon damage for 600% power strength, enemies in gloom just freeze. You also get a NUTTY amount of life leech. your floaty guns also do a CRAZY amount of damage.

I feel like one of his abilities could be a new one that allows him to shapeshift into an enemy and their attacks or something. Since the frame is based off the God himself. That’s just me tho

I have been waiting so long for this video. I started playing Loki when I discovered your videos (and stopped soon after to nuke enemies with Mesa) and I stopped playing Warframe as a whole a few years ago, and I couldn't understand why you would rant about Stug and not Loki when it's your persona

Whoa whoa whoa whoa... Can't take that commentary about pageflight to the face. Pageflight is arguably one of his strongest buffs, only right behind tragedy itself. Pageflight doesn't just increase status vuln, it also amps status damage. The vuln itself is already a huge buff to tragedy damage. Doubling or tripling your status procs applied is kinda just huge on its own. THEN the next damage amp happens. 100 becomes 300 becomes 600. Hes right up there in terms of overlapping his damage multiplier. Then you get into tragedy taking all that damage and multiplying it again. The birds are great, they're slow yes but anything they touch is gonna die to any status dot. They turn a 2k bleed tick from dante's 3, into a 250k tick. They're massively strong

Ur really sleeping on noctua. I'll run that as my main dps and top high damage frames with it, it hits SUPER hard. And page flight is honestly goated. Being able to take some heat off you and allies to keep your overguard up and higher is great. Every single part of his 4 is phenomenal and easily is an s tier frame

It's not that crowd control is irrelevant...it's that in the current situation crowd control is often detrimental to getting things done like shock mote trolls and limbo mains

The simple idea of new game mode is like mirror defence, a timer instead of kill count, a need to leave the defence target for a bit, but still endless waves, sure a dps can probably still spin around and slaughter the oncoming waves, but at least CC frames wouldn’t slow down the mission while still helping the team

To me, Lavos is the Archgun frame. The Warframe you use when you wanna shoot your biggest gun for as long as you want and DE can't stop you! Just use his Transmutation Probe every now and again to turn Ammo drops into Omni Ammo drops, and you'll never run out of Archgun.

The only thing stopping me from hyperfixating on the idea of an arachnid frame was the fact that I'm aware there are people with severe arachniphobia, but since one of my favorite Warframe content creators mentioned the lack of one, I will begin obsessing over a non-existent hunk of metal again :) There are plenty of spider names one could use for the title, and names aren't usually cut and dry like they used to be imo, so I'll leave that to the imagination. Anyway... Passive: Infinite Wall Latch duration + omnidirectional movement while latched + energy regen while latched 1st Ability: (TAP) Immobilize a singular enemy and tether them to yourself as a ragdoll; all damage received is nullified and X% is given of nullified damage is given to the tethered enemy. (HOLD) Throw the enemy as a projectile and deal Blast damage + procs in a small AoE based on damage received. 2nd Ability: Cast a net in a cone that sticks to walls and surfaces. Enemies get trapped in the net (ala Strangledome). The net can be Wall Latched onto. Can have up to 3 active at a time. Damaging the net will spread damage to all trapped enemies (scales off ability strength). Enemy projectiles are absorbed by the net like a shield. 3rd Ability: Place egg sacs on the ground/wall that draw enemy aggro. After a few seconds, spider minions spawn whose stats scale off the damage the egg sacs received. Deals toxin damage. 4th Ability: Infuse abilities and weapons with Gas, resulting in guaranteed Gas procs no matter the status chance. The 'rotation' would essentially be cast 1 for damage mitigation, cast 2 to group enemies up at a chokepoint such as doorways or any enclosed space if your range is big enough, cast 4 once enemies are grouped up and then follow up by hold casting 1 and casting your 3. Alternatively, just spam 3 for corpus missions, it'll probably work.
